Current Diary update - 31st March 2009

Well Songkran draws nearer by the day and I managed to get 'my' road accident in early with a spill on the motorbike this week. Lucky for me, and even luckier for the careless driver, that no serious damage was done..... I landed on my head! ;o) The picture in this weeks title was actually taken seconds before I hit the ground. In all seriousness, another reminder to 'be careful out there' on the roads.

Other than that the week was fun and relaxed - Simon Day returned from Burma and all the regulars met up for a good drink and a chat on Friday night. After Alex commenting on the basket of chips in last weeks diary many people decided to give them a try, all seemed more than happy. Don't forget that all the food at Jameson's is just as tasty as our fantastic chips in a basket, so pop in and try anything from our menu, you won't be disappointed.

Saturday night was a liitle different from normal as there was no Premier League Soccer or Rugby Union so it was a good night for a party and that is exactly what Rob and friends did. Rob organized a party through the website Thailandfriends.com and I was surprised to see he has so many friends….Or was it (Sorry Rob) that he had previously won a voucher for 25 free pints and decided to share it out...? If you look at the photos both here in the diary and also on Thailandfriends Journal Page you can see that everyone was having a great time and had great things to say, so well done to Rob and his friends.

On Sunday the Formula 1 Grand Prix season returned and it was great to see so many turning out early on a Sunday morning. Hope to see you again this week for the Malaysian GP.
